I got to experience a taste of what the next 11 months are going to be like when I went to our training camp for the mission trip. It was in October and was in Georgia. It was 10 days of meeting and living with people I have never met before. If you know me at all you realize this is a major challenge for me. I have always been shy and often struggle with meeting and interacting with one new person much less all the people that will be going on several different mission trips. It was great meeting the 24 other members of my team.

I have to say honestly, everyone on my team is amazing! Everyone brings something wonderful to the team. We lived in tents, shared stories, took bucket showers, had team building activities and games, ate with our hands (food from each place we will be going), worshiped, prayed for each other and grew in the Lord.

I saw the Lord work and move in so many ways over 10 day. I cannot even imagine what He will do in and through this team in 11 months. There is an incredible love, compassion, unity and closeness flowing through this team. I know that it is truly the body of Christ!

Camp changed my life and I know that the Lord is going to bring many to a saving knowledge of Him, heal brokenness, restore, transform and set free on this coming journey. I am so thankful for the blessing already and the many, many more to come!
