Hi friends πŸ™‚

It’s been about a month since Training Camp, and I figured it was time to share the experience with you!!

Here’s a list of the things I learned:

1.) We were made purely for the center of God’s love πŸ™‚

2.) If your heart is in Jesus, you don’t have to be enslaved to your fears or sins.  The Devil is making a desperate attempt to keep you trapped because he knows that he’s lost, and you and Jesus have the victory. #thatain’tcute

3.) Eating a bug can be preferable to eating an egg (when said egg is black and squishy)

4.) You don’t have to be perfect to be worth it. You’re always worth it.  Jesus DIED for you.

5.) What you’ve done doesn’t have to be who you are.

6.) Everyone’s a work in progress πŸ™‚

7.) Prayer is a powerful thing, but it’s not always instantaneous. Sometimes you have to do it for a couple of years, but He is always faithful, and the result is always beautiful.

8.) Thunderstorms are GREAT………………. Hiking is NOT.

9.) Healings are real, y’all. We spent a whole night praying for and witnessing this.

10.) NEVER underestimate the Wisdom of the Geese.

11.) We weren’t made for hiding. God has called us to be strong and courageous. He will offer his blessings to you, but you have to actually take them. This is something I’m still learning πŸ™‚ …”If watching is all you’re going to do, then you’re going to watch your whole life go by without you.” -Laverne, The Hunch Back of Notre Dame

In short, Training Camp was a beautiful and powerful adventure. I got to know Jesus as not just a deity, but a Dad; the people around me as not just strangers, but family; and myself as not just someone lost, but redeemed.

I can’t wait to go travel the world with strangers now!!! πŸ˜€

Much love,

             Kylah
