This week, my friend and squad mate Morgan Miller challenged our team to write about another squad mate.  By the luck of the draw, I’m writing about the wonderful Nikki Jacobson 🙂

Nikki is brimming with joyfulness!  Although there have been setbacks in her life, such as missing out on The Race last year, she continues to persevere and be a light to others.  She never fails to encourage, listen, and extend compassion.

One thing I admire is that she continually takes these setbacks and uses them to grow with God.  Instead of grumbling, she listens for the lesson.  God has blessed her with the gift of wisdom.

Nikki has also been a great unifier for our group.  She takes the time to get to know everyone personally- and in general, she’s just really sweet!  God is already using her to connect with others and show them they’re loved.  No doubt, she’ll continue to do that all throughout The Race.

Personally, I’m very thankful for Nikki and I think God has a lot in store for her.  Please pray that she will reach her fundraising goal and have a prepared heart for all that’s ahead!
