So yes it’s been a while since I wrote a blog… sorry but now you should have a few coming for ya and probably a little out of order. Enjoy!

Last week we started to reflect on our time in Thailand.  As a group, we were given questions or prompts to answer.  I mainly focused on 3 questions; what were blessings these past 2 months, how can I live more intentionally, and how can I refocus?  So I’m just going to share what I wrote down for all of those.

What have been some blessings in Thailand?

-Wildflower Home

  • Sister Elena, Kaew, Mai, Ja, Holly, Upin
  • Getting to do ministry with team Yes
  • Growing in relationships with people from other teams

-Connie’s Home

  • The chance to do ministry with only my team after growth with another team
  • The smiling faces of our little kiddos
  • Laughing with the kids at so much of the random stuff they said/did

-Zion Hostel

  • Growing in community with other people
  • Growth in friendships
  • Being in the city
  • Having some air conditioning part of the time
  • Growth from having to live with so many people in such a small space
  • Good WiFi access to call family and friends

-My family

  • Being able to call them every week
  • Always being so supportive of what I do/want
  • Helping me plan some next steps after the Race
  • Always being intentional with me

-Clarity

  • Feeling the clarity that the Lord has given me about things after the Race
  • PS I’m going to Central College!!

-This incredible space for me to experience so much growth

How can I live more intentionally?

-PRAY

  • Pray about everything all the time
  • Pray every day, all day
  • Pray big prayers
  • Pray for everyone

-Treat every day like a ministry day

  • Every day is a good day to tell people about Jesus

-Show everyone kindness and love no matter what

-Know that I am His child and I am so loved by Him

  • Live through His love

-Have real conversations more

-Make time, take time

How can I refocus?

-The Lord told me to “remember why” so I created a list of questions of why

  • Why do I worship?
  • Why do I pray?
  • Why do I love?
  • Why do I read the Bible?
  • Why do I love the Lord?
  • Why am I here?
  • Why am I doing this?
  • Why do I struggle?
  • Why do I have my quiet time?
  • Why am I free?
