What does it mean to you to be fully dependent on the father?
To me this means that I have to have child-like faith in God- that He has my best interest in mind. Child-like faith is something that I’ve learned is very hard to achieve, just talking the hand of the Father and putting all your trust into the unknown.
If you can imagine your walk with God as if you were walking straight out into the ocean from the shore, and as you get deeper and deeper you become more and more intimate with God. So as I’m growing closer to God, it’s as if I’m getting into deeper and more intimidating waters that are unknown to me.
Being able to trust God even when you don’t know what is ahead is honestly one of the most challenging things that I’ve had to learn. Once you get out into the deepest water and you’re just sinking and overflowing with the Spirit of God that’s when it gets the most challenging because following God is kinda scary, but its REALLY good. But when you are at your deepest point and all you can do is look up and take the hand of the Father, that when the child-like faith comes in because to walk on the scariest of waves you cannot take your eyes off of the Father.
