Hi!! My name is Kaelyn Hebert for those who do not know me and I am excited to say I will be traveling to Nepal this summer for the whole month of June with the World Race! I am currently a sophomore at Liberty University studying Pre-Law. These past few years have been very difficult for me in regards to making academic decisions, relationships, and future plans. I began to overwhelm myself with things that are out of my control and become so determined for my future that I have not been acting in the present. I knew I wanted to do something different but I didn’t know what that would be. My older brother went on a 9 month race in the summer of 2017 and my parents are actively involved in the World Race as coaches. They have all talked to me about taking time to serve. At first I was reluctant to apply to this trip because of my fears with being “on time” with life and finances, but instead I took a breath and realized God is giving me an opportunity I will not always be able to take. Sometimes you just need a little push to get your swing moving. I applied to the World Race month long trip last week on April 4th and got accepted a few hours later! I am excited to grow during this time mentally, physically, and spiritually and learn to trust God in the waiting. To be still and enjoy the life around me day by day. I will be serving and spreading the love of Christ to the people of Nepal and cannot wait to learn from the people there. However, I cannot do this on my own, I would love any support you can give!  If you would like to be involved in this process, you can subscribe to my blog page to keep up with my journey! Excited to share new stories with you all!
