Hello! Welcome to my Blog! I’m Julia Griffin and I’m 19. I am so excited to have you join me on this AMAZING adventure. I heard about World Race on Facebook and looked into it. I pondered going on a trip for a couple of weeks and finally felt a calling to apply. I have been on two week-long mission trips to Guatemala and I absolutely fell in love with going to a new place and making connections through Christ. I have known people who have done World Race and the adventures they went on and the experience they had amazed me. God has really been calling me to go and share his love and at first, I was really scared to answer his call but after a lot of prayer, I am ready to follow him into the great unknown and live my life for Him. Throughout this journey I will always hold Psalm 46:5 “God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.” I know that no matter what happens, God with be by my side at all times.
Since this is the ABOUT ME section, here are some facts about me:
I was adopted by my amazing grandparents (now parents) at age 13.
I have trained and shown dogs for 9 years. I also have a Dog 4-H Club that I help run with my mom.
I went to school for Phlebotomy but work as a nanny.
I love Mexican food (especially enchiladas).
My favorite kind of music is Country.
My dream job is to be a Children’s Pastor.
I love to draw, dance, and sing.
I really enjoy cop shows and medical shows.
I have a 6-year-old Rat Terrier named Zelda and a 15-year-old cat named Alice and I love them very much.
