hey guys I’m home!
This morning, World Race got it’s last squad landed on US soil. They sent ~550 missionaries back to the states this past week, me included.
On Sunday morning, we woke up ready and excited to start our first day of ministry in Thailand. But instead, we got called into a meeting and told that we would be going home within the next few days. Not because they were scared of us getting sick, no, this organization doesn’t live in that fear. But once countries started closing their borders and America began enforcing travel restrictions, World Race decided to comply. So we quickly packed our bags, endured 5 layovers and nearly 50 hours of traveling, and parted ways.
I’ve been home for two days now, but I still feel like I’m in a fog. It was all so fast, we didn’t even get to say goodbye.
But this also means that over 500 missionaries just got back to the states. Not to mention the 10s and 100s of thousands from other organizations.
GOD’S UP TO SOMETHING BIG.
This is no surprise to Him. He knew this virus and panic would spread, but He sent us out anyways. And now He’s sending us back cuz let’s be honest, America needs to hear the good news right now more than anyone. I mean, can you think of any other time the whole country was still? Any other time the whole world was so consumed by fear and all desperate for peace?
THERE IS REVIVAL COMING.
I know my God isn’t going to waste this opportunity to grasp everyone’s attention at once so we shouldn’t either.
So I’m calling all believers right now. This is our time. Our chance to spread peace and shout the good news. Don’t let this opportunity pass us by, it’s too good!
with love, jordan
