Over this past year God has been laying on my heart to do something more. I just didn’t know what that was, until I found this organization called the World Race. After my missions trip to Haiti it really changed my life. I saw how God was working through others and through me. I knew at that point I wanted to start doing more missions work but I didn’t know where to start. So I’ve prayed that God would show me how I can do more to serve others while preaching His word. So when I found out about the World Race I looked at the different countries they were traveling to and what they were doing in each country. I choose to go on the Ecuador and Peru because I saw that we would be we would have a chance to serve in many didn’t ways. In Ecuador we while being serving with Inca Link, in Quito. We will have a chance to minister to children living on the street, serving hospital with people who have special needs, spending time in elderly homes, working with feeding programs, and teaching English. After our time in Ecuador will then travel to Peru to serve alongside Savage Ministries. Our team will be focusing on serving the church and women’s ministry. We will have a chance to lead a Vacation Bible School, visit and pray with people in their homes, and share the Gospel through street evangelism. This will give a chance to grow in sharing God’s word. This trip is going to be a great way to gain knowledge of how to serve others.
