Cafe’ like coffee in Spanish or Courageous Adventurous Friends Evangelizing
The other day I was reading through James and verse stuck out to me and reminded me of how blessed I am to serve alongside these beautiful people.
James 2:18; But some will say “show me your faith apart from your works, and I say I will show you my faith by my works”.
I cannot express to you how well each of my teammates radiates the gospel through their passion, words, and actions. Now, I will officially introduce team C.A.F.E:
Ladies first,
Meet Kaelyn Gauthier!
Yes, she is as beautiful on the inside as the outside. Kaelyn is from Canada and has a sweet accent. Fun fact, Kaelyn and her sister love rowing together and they have a video coming out soon about how rowing became a huge part of their testimony. My favorite thing about Kaelyn is her kindness, humility, and sweet spirit. She is always thinking of others.
Meet Hannah Kraus!
Wow, words can describe how amazing this lady is or express the way Holy Spirit shines off her like a bright light. Hannah was the first person I really bonded with and I am so thankful for her. Fun fact, Hannah is from Ohio, but spend her last year in LA at a program called the Dream Center. My favortie thing about Hannah is that she does not realize how wise she truly, she loves others well, and she has a passion for evangelising.
Meet Christy McFarland!
Yes, she is as sweet as she looks, but do not worry Christy is bold and fearless. She is gorgeous, loves to be challenged and loves asking questions. Christy is from Virginia but fun fact, her family fosters and Christy loves being a big sister. My favorite thing about Christy is so determined to bring the kingdom of God where ever her feet are that she will run across a street just to give a man a cold drink of water in the Lord’s name.
Now its time to meet the Guys:
Meet David Smits!
Well, he is much taller in person just so you know. David is from Wisconsin and has the best accent ever (I may or may not give him a hard time about it). David is funny, caring and an amazing leader. Fun fact, he has 3 sisters. My favorite thing about David is his humility in being a leader, intentionality in serving others and his ability to make others laugh.
Meet Isaac Eicher!
Last but certainly not least. Dude, Isaac can be quiet, but when he does speak you can not help but listen. Isaac is from Michigan and loves working. Fun fact, Isaac was raised in an Amish community but never became a member of the Amish Church. My favorite thing about Isaac is his willingness to do anything that needs to be done and his words are so powerful they will light a fire in your soul.
WELL, YOU HAVE OFFICIALLY MET TEAM CAFE!
We are less than a month away from launching on the World Race!
