Hey guys, it’s me, Hannah! I’ve never had a blog before so bear with me as I figure this out, but here’s a bit about me. I played basketball with my school since I was in 6th grade till I graduated high school, so it will feel weird to not play again now that high school is over because I am not good enough for college level basketball. That doesn’t change the fact that I loved playing. I love my friends but don’t have that many friends because, in my opinion, it’s better to have few close friends than many, not so close friends if you know what I mean. With that being said, I’m a deep person, I think. I like to have deep conversations that create more of a connection with me and whoever I’m in relationship with. The way some would describe that is that I’m not fake or shallow. I am also a Christian. I go to Christian camps in the summer that changes lives and where I learn more about myself in Christ. I’ve been on 2 mission trips to Belize to run a kids vacation bible school type thing, where we taught them performing arts, such as flag dance, drama, dance, photography, drawing, and painting. While I was there, my team and I also lead them in freely worshiping God with all that we taught them. It was really an amazing experience for my team and I both years we went. To be honest I never thought I would go on a mission trip because I just didn’t think that was for me. Now here I am and I’ve gone to Belize twice for missions and I’m getting ready to leave the country for 9 months to do missions with Adventures in Missions and I’m beyond excited to see what God holds for myself and my teammates going with me. I’m asking for prayer as I prepare and also my future teammates who I actually don’t really know yet. Leaving for 9 months is a hard thing to do when you have friends and family that you’re kind of leaving behind. We all need peace and strength for any and everything we face before and during this 9 month adventure with God.
Thanks!
