I’m a few weeks away from launch and am overwhelmed by God’s faithfulness and how He has already moved! I’m close to being halfway funded, praise Him! I stand at around $8,500 right now and still need $10,000 by July 18th. I firmly believe this is where He has me in this season throughout many confirmations and a peace I have about the Race. I would like to invite you to come alongside me on this journey and partner with me in prayer over this squad and the time that will be spent on the field. We are launching specifically in the 10/40 Window, also known as The Resistant Belt, which is the rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia approximately between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude, and is home to the largest unreached people groups including the majority of the world’s Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. Our route is subject to change but as of now we are heading to China, Nepal, India, Oman, Ethiopia, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia!
There are a variety of tasks we will be able to engage in and a few consist of working with refugees fleeing persecution, ministering to those in the sex slave trade, aiding with job training and teaching English, investing in university students, encouraging established churches and local ministries, pioneering these countries to build new relationships for future ministry and possibly planting churches to share the Gospel and further His Kingdom.
Missions are very near to the Lord’s heart and He has commanded us to proclaim the Good News and make disciples of the nations (Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19-20). By partnering with me whether it be through prayer, monthly support or a one time donation you are still engaging in His will by sending me! If you have the heart and finances but are unable to go overseas God can still use you to send me! We are the body with many parts and functions and in this season of my life the Lord has made me available to dedicate my time and talents towards missions. Ultimately, my greatest need is prayer. Prayer that my team and squad would be open to His leading on and off the field. For unity among each other and that we wouldn’t do anything out of selfish ambition (Philippians 2:3-4). To be obedient to the Holy Spirit in large and small matters. That we would trust Him in areas that make us uncomfortable and allow Him to stretch and grow our faith. For perseverance in valleys and the strength to be committed to Him under trial. That we would seek after things of the Spirit and choose His will over ours.
