Ministry doesn’t aways go as planned. On a regular day, we show up, worship, get to work and everything goes smoothly. Other days, we have more things on our to do list than there is time in a day. Some days, we work so fast that we have time for a frozen yogurt break. Everyday is ministry, however ministry isn’t always sunshine and perfect temperatures. Ministry can be rain in the middle of a program. When we have to stop what we’re doing to take down tents and thank God rain coats were on our packing list. Ministry is playing with kids while their parents learn how to apply for legal papers for two hours. It’s cooking a hot meal for 220 people who might not get to eat that day other wise. Ministry is cleaning tables, chairs, and benches. Ministry is separating clothes so refugees have something warm to wear. Ministry is praying for someone who has never experienced Gods love.

Long story short, ministry has a lot of faces. God called us to the big things and the little things on this trip.  .

p.s. We had more fun taking down tents and brining benches inside during the rain than we would have if it was perfect weather.
