WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! It is only the second full day of training camp, and I have already encountered the Lord in ways I never thought possible. I’m just in complete AWE!!
okay, let’s talk about these bucket showers. It’s actually NOT that bad! It’s kind of nice to use less & be more conservative. but who doesn’t enjoy being environmentally friendly and freezing at the same time?! WOOO ??
now food: everyday are meals our based off of different cultures. Yesterday was Africa day. Today is Latin America day. I think tomorrow is South East Asia day. Africa day: ya girl was hungry. Latin America day: I’m feelin it , doing good . So we will see how South East Asia day goes!!
worship: WOW HOLY COW HOLY SPIRIT YOU ARE WELCOME HERE !!! i grew up in church but I have never encountered the Lords presence like I have over the past two days. ?? the Lord has given me a new level of understanding and experience in His word and presence. I‘ve never been one to sit still and just rest in the stillness of God, but I have over the past two days. I get to look around the room and watch people I barley know worship the SAME God as me in their own way. How awesome is that?? “It’s YOUR breath in our lungs so we pour out our praises to YOU ” like have you ever stopped and realized it’s Gods breath in your lungs?! How bizarre!! Thank you GOD!! ??
teachings: I have taken notes until my hand cramps! There are so many inspirational men and women pouring into us daily, even hourly. Speaking life over us, praying over us, teaching us new ways to study the Bible, teaching us to understand cultural difference, and just preparing us to go into the field. I can not absorb enough!! Ahhh!! The Lord is so so so big and I had Him in such a small small small box. Wow. ????
I truly believe this is where the Lord has called me. I can not wait to board the plane Sunday and go put to work what I am learning now!!
