Hey guys!! I’m so excited to say that I am going on the World Race Semester in January of 2020!! I am a sophomore in college now but will be taking the spring semester off to go and serve in Africa.

I will be taking a semester off from school to do what the Lord has called me to do, which is to go and make disciples! (Matthew 28:19-20) I will be gone for three months and will be working in Lesotho, Swaziland, and South Africa.

As most of y’all know, this is not my first mission trip but this will be the longest and farthest away I have been and I am not going with anyone I know like I have in the past. That is something I am kinda worried about but I know God will be with me through it all.

I am so excited to be able to help others. We will be doing a lot of different projects and services while we are gone. Our semester will start off serving at Impact Africa in Johannesburg. The staff at Impact Africa is passionate about training Racers about evangelism and their culture. We will also serve in Impact Africa’s home for rescued infants. This is going to be an exciting month!!

In month 2 we will be serving in Swaziland and serve with the ministry base that’s there. While serving there we will work at the various care points and feeding programs and work in different departments at the base. My team will also have the chance to work side-by-side with emerging Swazi leaders to help meet the needs of their community.

For the last month, we will be in Lesotho. My team will serve alongside World race’s partner, Africa 4 Jesus. Our ministry will focus on discipleship and building relationships in several villages in the area. We will also get the opportunity to serve in children’s ministry at the local kindergarten that Africa 4 Jesus built for the community. This is probably what I am most excited for! Working with children makes me so happy and I’m so glad we get to do it while we are in Africa.

I’m taking a big leap of faith by going on this amazing trip and I can’t do it without you! I am asking 2 things from you. First, please be praying for me and my team as we are getting ready for this amazing trip God has called us on. Pray that God will work through us so that the people can see HIM and not us. Second, I still have a lot of money to raise. If you feel lead to donate please go to the link in my Instagram bio (@caseyleelulu) or click on the donate bar when you came to this page. Any little bit helps and means a lot to me! Be on the lookout for more updates and fundraising opportunities. Also, don’t forget to subscribe for updates so you don’t miss anything!

If you made it this far, thank you for reading all the way! I am so excited to be doing what the Lord has called me to do! Can’t wait to see what He is going to do while we are there.

Love, Casey 🙂
