Hi eveyone! Welcome to my blog. My name is Bridget Mirizio I am 24 years old and I am from Gilbert Arizona. Gilbert is one of the larger cities in Arizona and is in the Phoenix area. I have lived here my whole life with my mom, dad and sisters Hannah and Mary. I am the middle child and love it.
I grew up in a Roman Catholic family. Up until my sisters and I could drive we went to church together every Sunday. Followed by dinner with my Grandparents. Something my parents always reminded us is how important family and faith are. There isn’t much to life if you don’t have both.
After graduating high school I tried college. After a year at Northern Arizona University, I decided college was not for me. I spent the next 3 years working towards my goal of being a police officer. When I was 22 I finally put in an application to a local police academy. I was accepted and started the academy. The first time through I was unable to graduate due to to many failed tests. They allowed me to come back and try again. My second go around though I felt like my heart wasn’t truly in it. After long consideration I decided to quit. That is when I signed up to go on the World Race. If you want to know why I am going check out my next blog.

– I am a receptionist at a Junior high school in Gilbert.
-I also coach soccer
-I think soccer is the greatest sport ever invented and that football is boring.
-I love going on adventures.
-My favorite movie is the goonies

-I am also a huge supporter for womens rights.
