Oh. My. Goodness. 37 days and I leave to go serve God!! I am overjoyed and excited that the time is almost near, but if I am being honest, I am also nervous and impatient as heck! With the trip being so close, I wanted to update you all on how fundraising is going and what I am doing to get the last of the funds in to be able to go. Listed below are my fundraisers I am either in the middle of or I am prayerfully beginning. I have also added a decription and an update on how that fundraiser is going! Please pray with me over these different paths and that the Lord uses them to get me fully funded. We have together raised $2,612 and I need a total of $5,300 so if you would like to help me do what God has called me to then please help out with one or more of these fundraisers below!

1) Go Rings Partnership-

This has been such a fun fundraiser! This company is really cool because when you place an order, you have to pick someone to have 30% of the proceeds from your order to go to (pick me)! How is this fundraiser going you may ask, well let me give you some updates! Just last weekend I did a photoshoot with some of my gal pals before my cousin’s wedding (special congrats to Donny and Jenny Sims on their recent nuptials!) wearing some of the jewelry that came in my pop-up box and some that they bought for themselves! I am also in contact with a certain clothing boutique chain that wants to place a wholesale order to carry product in their downtown location so please pray that that does well. Also… if you stay tuned, you can check out my amazing friends that donated their time and beautiful faces/hands to promoting the jewelry www.gorings.com sells! You have 9 days left of this fundraiser so please go and check it out and purchase something that will make you feel like a princess or a rockstar or however you want to feel!!

2) Adopt-a-Box with a Twist: Truth or Dare Version-

This is probably the most interactive fundraiser and the one I am most anxious/excited for in the best way! Adopt-a-box is pretty simple. You pick a box/number from the poster featured below and donate that amount. Next you comment on one of the Facebook posts for it what box you picked and you get to decide if you’re going to ask me a truth or give me a dare! There are a couple rules so read them closely, but the major one is that they must be PG-13 and not in any way illegal! This is a pretty important fundraiser for me because if all the boxes are purchased, then I will be fully funded so please prayerfully consider buying a box and giving me a silly dare or probing truth!

3) Take Over Papa Murphy’s!

I am currently waiting for a call from the owner to discuss a date, hoping for a Sunday where my church has community group so we can order pizzas for the meal of the day! This fundraiser is pretty yummy because pizza is amazing and all you have to do is place an order and say a special phrase and 25% of the proceeds from your order is donated to my trip! I mean, getting to eat some delicious pizza and help your amiga go serve God is a pretty good day if you ask me!

4) Garage Sale

I am considering having a garage sale! I have lots of stuff that just collects dust and so does some of my family so I am talking with my brother’s girlfriend about using her church space to have a garage sale so if you have somethings you don’t need or want anymore, let me know and if I have a garage sale I can come and pick it up/have you drop it off!

5) Online Dessert Auction

I have seen these in the past and I feel like lounging on the couch in my PJ’s and bidding on some spectacular looking desserts sounds fantastic! I love to bake and so do some of my close friends, family, and church members so if you read this far and like to bake hit me up if I don’t hit you up to see if you would be interested in making something super yummy!

That’s it! Those are all my ideas on how to get the last chunk of funds to be able to go and serve God. Please consider donating to help me achieve the goals and if you can’t financially assist then please share my blog and pray for me. Thank you to everyone that has helped me thus far. I am very grateful for the help of everyone.
