Since my last blog my group have helped two more churches! And this week is our last church we are helping as a squad before we leave for good ole U.S. of A. :/
So this week we are in The same area as the second church we helped!
The first church we helped was Jesus was mi Rey!( Jesus is my king Christian church).
I am unsure what the second church was called but we went door to door and told them about two church services for the kids that we were helping with that weekend and the Sunday night adult service! In order for us to get to this church we had to go up half a sandier hill than I’m used to and 200 STEPS/STAIR- THINGS!!
We did some manual work too!! Like hauling bags that were one fourth full of sand up a sand hill! We did the kids services and the adult service and for the services we learned a dance to a song that we performed!!
The third church wasn’t really a church it was a Christian organization called la Mesa del reino which is Spanish for THE KINGDOM’S TABLE. This organization works with mental and physical disabled individuals and teach them reading and writing but also showing the love of God and showing them that everyone has a disability of some kind and therefore we are all equal. everyone has a disability – what I mean by this is like I don’t know ASL so that is a disability because then I can’t COMMUNICATE to a deaf or blind person! This week we also helped the individuals know that we are all loved and created by God!! And today we went to a dead church! It was interesting! It was obviously super quiet! 😛 and they did baptisms!! It was so cool!
This is our last week of ministry! :/
