So I’ll be honest. I’m not much of the blogging type, so this might be boring and choppy, but hang with me. I’ll go ahead and tell you a bit about myself.
I was born and grew up in the colorful state of Colorado. I have one older brother who is like a best friend to me and two of the most loving parents in the world. As well as three cats: Moses, Quinn, and Penelope. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs too, but cats just seem to get me. Our family currently lives in Divide, Colorado- probably reported as one of the smallest and most unknown towns in Colorado, but all in all its a beautiful and enjoyable place to live in. I graduated from a private Christian school in 2017 and went through an EMT program through a hospital right after. After searching for an EMT job for about 6 months, God blessed me by providing me one about 4 months ago with a newer ambulance company down in Colorado Springs. I enjoy it and am learning so much at the same time.
I have known for a very long time that God has given me the heart to serve and help others. The current job that I have has given me the opportunity to do this. My job has practically turned into a ministry for me, not only with the patients, but with my work partners as well. God has been teaching me to share Him with the people I’m around through showing them love, patience, grace, and more. I have definitely failed at it often enough, but I know the experiences I’ve had has only given me more understanding and strength for the future. I’m so thankful for this job and what God has taught me.
Now, God has given me the opportunity to share his love and further his kingdom in a totally different environment (Central America), along side even more fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I know that no matter where I am, God can work through me so that others can know Him and the love He has for them. I still have A LOT of growing and learning to do, and I know that there will be huge obstacles and challenges to overcome. However, I also know that God will definitely guide me and be with me all along the journey. His will be done!
Thank-you for reading!
