Many people have been raised to believe in coincidences and I once thought that way myself, but I have grown to know and believe in God and the fact that there are no coinsidences even when it may seem that way.

It amazes me how God intricately weaves my life together. I am always stunned by the way He works everything out for my good, even the bad.

God is supernatural, He does not make logic sense to the natural mind, He operates through the spirit in ways that man cannot operate alone in the natural.

I have had the opportunity to witness His supernatural blessings in my own life more than once. When He does the supernatural in my life, it helps to build my faith and trust in Him because when I can’t see a way, I know He is able to make one in His way.

Well, He just did it again for me. As some of you know, I have been fundraising for this mission trip for the past few months. It hasn’t been that easy, my first goal to reach is $5,000 by July 15. I have raised about $1,000 or more each month, so I am still $1,000 short. Two nights ago, I was $1,500 short and I felt like I had asked everyone I could think of. Most of the people did what they could, some gave multiple times, someone even decided to sign-up to give $20 a month (major blessing), and a lot of people either denied supporting or ignored my cry for help.

I am grateful for everyone that has been praying for me and that has helped me, and I have no hard feelings for those that didn’t.

Anyhow, two nights ago, I was in my room having my time with God and I began praying. I told Him how I was feeling about fundraising at the moment. My first goal was coming up and I felt like I had done all I know to do, and that I didn’t want to stress about the rest, so I was putting it in His hands. I asked Him to supply the rest of my needs for this goal, supernaturally. I prayed according to His word, that He would supply my needs according to His riches in glory and that I should not fear. I prayed His will for the situation and I surrendered my worries.

When I finished praying, I went to go brush my teeth and get ready for bed. Upon finishing my phone went off twice both being emails. The first was irrelevant and the second one was a $500 donation notice. I instantly began to worship and cry because I literally had just got done praying a specific prayer about what He had just done.

The other part that added so much significance to what He had done was the person that made the donation. This person was following me on IG for at least a month or so, I couldn’t even remember how or when we became followers and I thought He was famous I suppose. However, this night He liked or commented on one of my posts and my curiosity drew me to his page. While there I noticed his second page and on it was a picture of him and my pastor. Our church is rather huge, so I wasn’t sure that I ever met him, but I wrote him and asked if we ever met and expressed how cool it was that we went to the same church. Conversation began, and we started talking about church and missions. I asked him how he found my page and he told me a lady I serve in altar call with told him about my content, which I didn’t even know she knew about. Me and him didn’t even talk about fundraising, so I had no clue it was going to happen. He said he was just being obedient to what God said. I was just in awe of the whole thing.

This taught me so much as if I didn’t already know, sometimes I learn lessons more than once, but it definitely helps. It taught me to go to God for everything, to have faith that when He guides you to do something He will also provide for it, no matter the amount. I learned to always surrender my cares to him because He cares for me. Most importantly, I learned to always walk by faith and never by sight because things may not ever seem to be going well, but God is always working behind the scence.

So, today I want to encourage you to walk by faith for the things you are believing God for. We tend to ask God for it, but at the same time hold on to it and try to figure it out in our own ways. When we do this and don’t completely give it to Him, we usually find ourselves frustrated, anxious, and exhausted. God will come through whether it is in the first second or the last second, so keep holding on to faith even if the last second passed already. He has a plan and He wouldn’t bring you to something without the intentions of getting you through it.

Let’s pray:

Father,

Thank you for all the times you came through on my behalf. Thank you for always making a way for me and encouraging me to endure. Lord, help me to trust you at all times. I believe Lord but continue to help my unbelief. Today, I surrender my will, my way, and my burdens to you. I ask you for your burden Father because you said in your word that it is light. Father, you know my needs and where I am, so I ask you to provide for me according to your riches in glory and to meet me where I am. Father knit my heart with yours, so that I may walk in your ways, grow in your knowledge, and in my faith. In your Holy name I pray, Amen.
