You would think writing about yourself would be so easy, however, there is so much one knows about themselves, which can make it hard to sum it all up. I suppose the most important piece of me to share would be my name, I was born Alycia Lynn Mathis, 26 years prior to today in September. I graduated from Lindenwood University with my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as the class in 2018. I grew up being the oldest of ten siblings. I love nature, hiking, creating adventures to explore, and riding rollercoasters.
I really just started getting to know myself on another level in the past six years of my life, which so happened to begin when my relationship with God really began. I found out that I love to run long distance and that I am rather decent at it. I discovered my ability to write and my interests in reading. I have developed a passion for speaking and sharing my experiences to help encourage others.
Life was rather tough growing up, but it made me who I am today, so I wouldn’t change it for the world. I use everything I have experienced to help myself and others grow.
I go by Tatted Testimony, Tatted for short, which was birthed later in 2017. I have 32 tattoos (and counting) of the testimonies and stories I have walked through. I began writing my first blog at the beginning of 2018. www.tattedtestimony.com if you would like to check it out. I am also, Tatted Testimony on all social media, so feel free to friend or follow me.
I am really looking forward to what God is doing in my life and the life of others. I have a passion to change the world by sharing the gospel and my experiences to help heal and deliver others. I love to pray and worship, there is something about music that can move me and the power of prayer that blows my mind.
I am an introvert by nature, but the Holy Spirit helps me to be more social than not. I am very openminded and I do my best to stay yielded to God so that He can have His way.
I am beyond grateful that I have been accepted into the World Race and although there are many different thoughts and emotions going on about it, I am excited for this adventure and I can’t wait to explore all that is in store.
Stay tuned to learn more about me, my mission, why I joined the race, and how God is working!
