Hi! I am offically a “world racer” and I’m pretty excited about that. It doesn’t feel real that I am going to leave everything I know and love for nine months. It is crazy and exciting all at the same time!

I bet a lot of you are wondering how and why I made this decision. Honestly, I am not entirely sure how it actually happened, but it did. I have always had a passion for missions and serving others in different places. I found out about the World Race a few years ago and I really wanted to go, but I found out I was too young for the long mission trips.

About a month or so ago I was planning on attending a university, but for some reason I told my mom that I was thinking about the World Race again. I told her about it a few months before, but I decided to do it later in my future. For some reason, the World Race kept popping in my mind, so I decided to apply. I was beyond excited when I got accepted, then things fell in place.

My parents were, suprisingly, at peace with my last-minute decision. They agreed that they felt that this was what I should do. I prayed about it a lot and I know tons of people prayed about it for me too.

The World Race is something that I have been wanting to do. I was made for this. I was made to go on this nine month mission trip. I know that it will be difficult and hard, but I have a great and gracious Father that is holding me tight.

“…perhaps you were born for such a time as this…” Esther 4:14

Look out for some fundraisers and updates about my trip. THANK YOU!
