My name is Victoria and I am 19. I am normally a person who likes to plan things out so that everything works out just perfectly. In reality though some things just don’t ever turn out how they are suppose to be. Sometimes its just Gods planning to guide you to the path that he has for you. I choose Gods Timing as my title because I had first heard about the world race because it just had shown up in my email. I had never been on the website or anything prior to this. When I had clicked on this back in 2017, in had just thought well I will go when I am 21. I can finish school get a job and just save up the money to go and than I would be set. I figured I would leave in January or February after the major holidays so it would be easier on my family. During this process of my thinking I never thought if this is what God would want me to do. Fast forward a bit I decided to pray about where I should go just so like I can plan it out. It was like the places that I should go to are Thailand , India and Guatemala. When I went to look on the routes I couldn’t find one that had all three places so I had let it go and was a little bit discouraged. In October of 2018 , I had gotten an email about the world race gap year. It had seemed to just scream open me. I opened it and was looking at the routes and I saw the route for Thailand , India and Guatemala. This was it so than before I applied I just prayed if it is your plan for me to go than I could get accepted. Obviously I had gotten excepted and through being excepted I have learned Gods timing is not our timing. He always works things for our good.
