Muchos de los que hacen World Race compran “keys for the journey” antes de su viaje. Es una llave con una palabra que uno puede elegir o pedirle a los que la hacen que elijan la palabra por usted por medio de oración. La idea es ver cómo Dios le da sentido a esa palabra para la vida de uno durante el viaje. Una vez que eso sucede, uno puede regalar la llave a alguien más que uno sienta que necesita la misma palabra.
Mi dulce amiga Moriah acaba de terminar World Race Gap Year y al inicio compró una llave con la palabra profetizada “GROW” (“crecer”). Desde entonces, Dios le ha permitido crecer en maneras que ella no esperaba.
Cuando nos conocimos en marzo, ella sintió que tenía que darme su llave, pero pensó: “¡No, Dios, no la conozco!” Además, ella no planeaba regalar su llave. Luego, Dios se encargó de permitirnos pasar mucho tiempo juntas hasta hacernos amigas, y le confirmó que su llave ahora era para mí. ¡Unas semanas después ella me dio su llave y una hermosa carta explicando lo que significaba para ella y cómo ahora es mi momento de crecer!
Estoy muy agradecida por Moriah y por las increíbles oportunidades que Dios me ha dado en los últimos meses. Quería compartir esto con ustedes, para que puedan ser parte del proceso de crecimiento que Dios tiene para mí. Esta es solo la “Parte 1”, porque espero poder contarles lo que Dios me siga diciendo a través de esta palabra.
También, Moriah estará haciendo World Race de nuevo por 3 meses, pero esta vez como “alumni team leader”. Esto significa que estará guiando a chicas que empezarán World Race Gap Year este año. ¡Ella es una amiga demasiado dulce, que tiene una gran pasión por Dios y una conexión admirable con el Espíritu Santo! Many world racers get “keys for the journey” before their trip. It’s just a key with a word you either pick or have someone prophesy it through prayer for you. The idea is to see how God gives that word meaning to your life. Once that happens, you can give your key away to someone else you feel may use that word too.
My sweet friend Moriah just finished World Race Gap Year, and she got a prophesied key with the word “GROW”. Ever since, God has been growing her in so many ways she didn’t expect.
When we met back in March, she felt like she had to give me her key, but she thought, “No God, I don’t know her!”, plus she wasn’t planning on giving her key away. Then, God went ahead and allowed us to spend a lot of time together until we became close friends, and confirmed her that her key was supposed to be mine now. A few weeks later she ended up giving me her key and a beautiful letter explaining what it meant to her and how now is my time to grow!
I am so grateful for Moriah and for all of the wonderful opportunities that God has given me in the past few months. Anyways, just wanted to share that with you all, so you can be a part of the journey of growth God has for me. This is only “Part 1”, because I hope I can tell you more about what God shows me through this word in the future.
Also, Moriah will be back on the field as an alumni team leader for 3 months. That means she will be guiding and mentoring girls that will be doing the race starting this year! She is such a sweet friend, is really on fire for the Lord, and has a special connection with the Holy Spirit!
