I really can’t believe it’s almost over. In about 24 hours I will be hugging my teammates as we all go our separate ways at the airport. I almost don’t even have any words to say.
On January 24th I met my team and 3 days later we left the country together. For the next 3 months we would spend our days sharing the gospel to each other, to strangers, and even to our families back home. We spent some days traveling. We spent some days just relaxing and trying to soak in all that God was doing. God did some pretty amazing things over the time I’ve been gone, but what exactly did he do? I will be posting 3 different blogs over the next week, one for each country just to try and share with you what the Lord has done in my life. So be on the look out for those!
It wasn’t easy living with 10 people you barely know. Especially when we are all very different and come from different places. But, I wouldn’t trade my team for anything in the world. We have had different opinions on lots of things and some even turned into arguments but my team is my family. Even though we were all so different we were all in Africa for one reason, and that reason was to serve God.
My team is full of beautiful people and I can’t wait to see the amazing things that God will continue to do in their lives.
Please pray peace and comfort over my team as we jump into debrief before heading home.
