WOW!
God is good!
I have been fundraising for a little over a month and I have already raised 11.39% of my goal. WOW! This might not seem like a lot but trust me, it is. This is all new to me. I have never fundraised before and I’m not going to lie, I was (and many times still am) nervous. But if I have learned anything in this month and a half is that nothing is too big for God. Nothing is impossible for Him.
Throughout this process, so far, I have noticed that I have no doubt that I will raise this amount in time. I realize that that is the peace of God working in me because who wouldn’t be overwhelmed if they had to raise $19,200 in 6 months. Nothing is too big for God. Nothing is impossible for Him.
Another thing I have to mention is the unexpected ways I have seen God work through this fundraising process. People I haven’t talked to in years donating to help me reach my goal, or even people I meet for the first time that decide to support me. These I call God’s unexpected treasures. I have also had people I have known my entire life donate with such a giving heart it’s unreal. Nothing is too big for God. Nothing is impossible for Him.
This is all about trust. It’s the same trust I put in God when I was standing on that small platform ready to bungee jump. It’s the same trust I put in God when I held a Boa Constrictor in the Amazon (my worst fear). Fundraising might not seem like jumping off a bridge or holding a slimy, slithery reptile. Its it’s own kind of scary, nerve-racking, type of thrill. One that I know I will come out on the other side having learned so much. Nothing is too big for God. Nothing is impossible for Him.
Thank you to all who have supported me so far. I appreciate you greatly.

P.S. Here is a fun pic of me with that Boa.
