Hi all,
I’m going to start this blog post with a thank you. Thank you to every single person who has either donated or bought a shirt or sent prayers my way. I have felt so much love and support from everyone in my life and I am so grateful to have the people I have around me showing such love.
The past few weeks have been some of the busiest, craziest, and most fun couple of weeks. I have had an overflow of encouragement from people, and after a long time of stillness, fundraising is taking off again, and with my $5,000 deadline coming up on June 18th I could not be more grateful for this movement. I have come to the understanding that my God is a providing and fulfilling God, but due to my human flaws, I had begun to doubt him and my capabilities to raise the funds I need to depart on my journey this fall. June 18th is rapidly approaching, and between now and then not only will I be praising the Lord through a fruitful season of growth, I will graduate high school and see many of my friends do the same, I will have my 18th birthday and begin volunteering at a church in Portland I have fallen in love with. I am not kidding around when I say God has been on big moves, and I know He will continue to do so and I am more than excited to see everything that he has in store for me over the next few weeks.
I am also excited to see where the Lord provides in the next few weeks, I currently have 40 days until my $5,000 deadline, and I am currently $3,175 short of this, I have seen the Lord move in BIG ways to do the impossible and help me in ways I could have never expected, so I will continue to pray hard over these next 40 days and I will continue to find peace in knowing that he has my back.
