As I’m sure some of you know, during my time in the Dominican Republic I along with my team had the opportunity to get tattoos on our off day. I decided to get one with my squad mates. I decided to get a map of the world with the words seek life and the Bible verse Acts 20:24 on it. The words seek life originated from our team name life seekers. As a team in the beginning we were challenged to come up with a name that represented us and what we stood for. Many words were thrown around such as disciples, refined, radical and many more options but eventually we came up with the name life seekers. We felt as though this name encompassed all the words being said and more. For our hope was by proclaiming the gospel others may have eternal as well as hoping that we would just continue to speak life and encourage one another. Though eventually our time serving together will come to an end, I hope that I will continue to live out the name life seekers. As for the map, I have had a heart for global missions for quite sometime. I got the map as a promise to God that no matter where He may lead me, even to the ends or the earth, I will follow and continue to serve Him. Lastly I got the Bible verse Acts 20:24. This is my absolute favorite verse in scripture and it’s how I hope to live my life. “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me —the task of testifying the good news of God’s grace.” Like oooooof that is a bold statement to live by. Knowing how life changing God’s grace is I hope to have a spirit of boldness to the point in which I have no fear in even death to  proclaim the good news. Knowing and being fully confident in eternal life, why would you not want to throw everything down to have that and to share that with others. So my question to you is what is your meaning of life, does it align with God, and are you currently actively seeking life?
