So, a lot has happened within the last week. I went to Bible Camp and trust me, there was an awakening of spirit, of love, hope, joy, worth, and faith. I saw the love of God move in so many ways. It reminded us that Jesus has so much love for us and it showed us how valuable we are. How powerful the name of Jesus is, It is something that can’t be described but has to be felt. How the Holy Spirit can move within you and cause marvelous things. I wish I can explain it, but I can’t. To understand, you need to open your heart and let the Spirit come in. It is an extraordinary, that can’t be explained in words. I know I had an awakening. A reminder that I may not always understand why a lot of things happen but God has a reason for all of it. How I am worth so much even when I doubt it. How it doesn’t matter how far I stray from God, he is always there to accept me with open arms and say, “Child come to me. I have waited. I love you”. A love so strong that you began to wonder why you ever doubted your worth, but let me tell you something. The moment you know your true identity as a daughter/son of Christ, you began to stop doubting your worth.
Throughout the week, I learned a lot. As said in 1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”. We already have victory because the Jesus who died on that cross and rose up from the death three days later is with us and within us. In Romans 12:2, is states, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will”. It is not just about hearing the word of God but about being transformed and putting it into practice. In order to be ready for what the world has in store for us we must be transformed. In order to win the battles, you need to be in daily communication with God. You need to constantly study the word, for when temptation comes to you, you can beat it. If you only go in his presence when you are already in battle, you may lose. Jesus wants to dwell within you. He already paid the price for your sins. You are valuable and worth it. What you do for God doesn’t change your value, he already paid the price. He knows that you are not perfect and that sometimes temptation may win. But it does not end there, go to him and seek him. He will forgive you and next time you will beat it and not fall. He wants you to prepare yourself, so when temptation comes, you can be ready and have the right armor to defeat it. Even when you have already been transformed, the devil will try to bring your past to you and remind you of what you were and not who you are. YOU ARE A DAUGHTER/SON OF AN AMAZING FATHER WHO LOVES YOU AND WANT YOU TO KNOW YOUR WORTH. Jesus already paid the price, so you can be washed in his blood and be renewed. You have nothing to prove, he just wants your heart and love. He already knows your worth and he already paid for it. The gospel does not demand perfection, he wants a relationship with you, he wants to show you how much he loves you and cares for you. You also need to stop comparing yourself to other people. Everybody’s journey is different and unique. God has a purpose for everybody, a purpose for your life that will bring you so much joy and peace. You need to maintain Jesus on the top of you life and you will prosper. Within the last week I learned that God will always be there to welcome you with open arms and tell you he loves.
