When we got to Costa Rica my team and I were pretty excited! We were ready for something new and fresh! A couple days after we arrived in the country we were to find out our ministries for the next couple of months; we were all so pumped to finally know! We gathered in a circle in the house as one of the leaders began to tell us the awaited information. As she began to tell us our ministries a few tears filled some of our eyes. She told us that we would be teaching English every single day, along with one day of contruction, house visits, and zumba class (who knew zumba could be a ministry:). While in India we “taught English” to the students, but it was always an exhausting day for everyone. Many people on my team including me were upset about the ministry ahead! I already had the mindset that I would just push through the ministry scheduled!
Our first official day of ministry we ended up having our English teaching portion of the day cancelled, which was honestly a blessing! So yesterday we went to our other English teaching ministry and it was so much fun!!!!!! There were about seven people from 15 to 27 years old, and we just get to sit and practice English with them! It’s kind of two-way because we are learning Spanish in the process! On our way home that night our whole team was full of joy! What we were crying over a couple days ago God knew would bring us so much joy in the future!
There are so many times when God does something that literally makes no since, but you just have to trust that His plans are good! God knew while we were crying to Him that this very thing would bring us so much joy a couple days later; He was just waiting on us to trust Him!

James 1:17
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
