We didn’t have Wifi for the majority of South Asia so I’ll do my best to catch you up on everything that has happened!
Honestly, it’s kind of hard to know where to begin. Our ministry consisted of multiple things including “teaching English”, house visits, intercession, going to local churches to do a “World Race Special Number” 😉 kids ministry, VBS, manual labor, putting on dances, going to the hospital to pray and help out, cooking ministry with one of our best friends Dara, and the list goes on!!!!
It was truly a challenging month! Our accommidations ranged from bunk beds with a community bathroom to individual beds with individual bathrooms. For about a month and a half we stayed at a school where we set up our tents in the rooms, we had a community bathroom for forty people that consisted of three toilets, two sinks, and one shower (not to mention that the water went out often)! This is where the shower list came in handy; we would tape a piece of paper next to the shower where we would write our names in the order of who had the shower next! And for laundry we did handwashing!!!! YAY!!!
We were tested in many areas during our time in South Asia, but God is so faithful! We were taught how to be extremely flexible, how to lay down our pride and our desires, how to be more patient, and so much more! Are we perfected in those areas, definitely not, but it’s step by step that we are conformed to the image of Christ!

Some amazing things that happened:
– God healed a partially paralyzed woman and another accepted Christ as her Savior. I wasn’t in the middle of all that action, but many of my squadmates and I were on the side lines doing intercession for those who did go out and participate in that!
– God completely orchestrated a night where we were able to be part of a home church and do worship with the family and some of the neighbors who are Hindu! That was such a beautiful night!
-Amazing relationships were built with the kids and some adults!
– So many seeds were scattered during our time in South Asia. We didn’t see a whole lot of fruit, but I know that God will water those seeds to produce fruit one day whether we see it or not.
– People on the squad were led to sponser children to go to a Christian school. This will literally change the course of their lives forever!
– PVT was the last week of our last month in Soth Asia, so we were able to see our parents and do ministry alongside them! That was awesome!

PRAISE GOD FOR HIS MARVELOUS WORKS!!!!!
