Our last day of ministry at Agape was Friday, and we had to say some bittersweet goodbyes. My team and I learned a lot from these past two months, and we have grown so much as a team. We will be leaving Thailand very soon, and the thoughts of packing everything once again is quite dreadful. I’ll probably wait until the day before to pack and do laundry all in the same day. FUN FUN!!!!!
The thoughts of leaving a place that I’ve lived in for two months is exciting yet sad at the same time. I didn’t think it would be that hard to leave Thailand because I haven’t made a whole lot of connections here other than with my team which I’ll be with the next seven months of my life, yet a piece of my heart is being left here therefore it will be difficult in some ways. Thailand has been like the breaking of the ground of what the Lord is getting ready to do!
These two months have been a season of learning to do the hard things, and learning to seek the silver lining in every single thing. It’s been a time of laughter and sorrow, and a time of trusting the Lord with what He has called us to do. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago”. So it’s a matter of trusting that what God has told you to do He has had planned all along and it’s going to be so good!
On a bit of a different subject, here recently I’ve been in a mood/mindset of dryness, and it feels like I’m stuck in a ditch and can’t get out no matter what direction I take. I was talking to my dad about it on the phone, and he said it sounds like spiritual warfare. He reminded me that the enemy can tell when a breakthrough or a revival of some sort is about to break out, therefore he seeks to stop it in any way possible. So I ask that you join me in interceding for breakthrough and revival to come, and that we won’t let the enemy come in and distract us with his lies.
“For the thief only comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but I have come that you may have life and life more abundantly.” -John 10:10
