In 1Corinthians 12 it speaks of the body of Christ and how we are each individual parts, but no one is greater than another because when we come together in unity there is a whole and complete body. If the foot or the eye was not there then the body would not function properly. Each part of the body is in need of the other. (This is an amazing chapter about different gifts within the body and how the body of Christ should work; I highly encourage you to read it!)
This is a beautiful picture of this journey I am on right now! In order for me to be on the field right now I need each part of the body to help:
– those who are praying
– those who are giving financially
– those who are helping me fundraise
– those who listen to what the Lord has called me to
– those who spread the word about my going
I need each of these people to help me get where the Lord wants me to go, and so I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank each person who has helped in any of these ways. I am forever grateful!
Thank you for saying yes to the Lord and trusting in Him and in what He has called me to do in this season of my life!
