I made it to Guatemala this past Monday afternoon and life got a little different for me. I’m living with 40+ new people for the next nine months. I’m prepared for change, even though I still have no idea what that looks like. Coming here was hard at first, I got a taste of what being homesick is really like. I’m better now, though! Most of the week was spent learning about Guatemala’s culture and what these next three months will look like. I learned more Spanish…yay!! (I’m hoping to continue to grow in that) I also learned what transportation looks like here on a bus. Let’s just say…if we can get you to fit on the bus somehow, you will fit. I also got to hand wash clothes and love on some of the children in a very small village in the mountains. This is the same village that I will be doing ministry with four days a week while I’m here. I’m so excited to fall more in love with this country and the people in it, as well as get to tell you more stories!! Please pray for the people of this country to have open hearts toward the Lord and what He has. Thank you all so much!
