*I’m back in Texas* *Silent Auction is coming up* *$11,663 raised out of $19,900 goal*
I have been meaning to write an updated post for a while now. I will try and keep it short. The latest information is that I am back in Texas! It feels good to be home. I have been working on completing all the little tasks that I need to get done before leaving in June. One of those tasks is my Silent Auction coming up on May 18th. It will be held at Grace Crossing Church of Christ from 3-5pm. Please come! I am praying for the word to get out and that God will bring people to this event. Ive been in the process of collecting donations since being home. It’s a lot harder than I thought but I think in the end, it will be great! Another check off the to-do list is that I finally got my most important gear last night. A few items were a tent, sleeping pad, backpack (the one I owned was too big). Every day I make a new list and attempt to check as many things off as I can. It has taken a lot longer than expected but I have 3 weeks left to make it happen. That sounds crazy! Three weeks and then I’ll be gone again. I appreciate everyone who has been keeping up with me and supporting me on this journey either through encouragement, donations for my auction, in prayer, reading my blogs, and financially. I have been so focused on checking off things on my list that I still haven’t processed that I’m back in Texas and that I’ll be leaving again soon. It probably won’t hit me until I’m on the plane. As far as fundraising, I have been able to raise $11,663 out of my goal of $19,900! The auction is my last event that I will be doing before leaving for The World Race. My goal is to try and be 100% funded before I leave. This has been my prayer. That is really all the updates I can think of at the moment. I will try and get better at this blog posting thing.
