Dear Supporters,

Month One in Guatemala was crazy good.

and I want to share some things God did, and what’s going on in my life here.

After many reminders from God, and after many years of battling… I finally laid my chains down, and said yes God I will fully trust you, and be completely loved by you. I will allow you to cleanse me from, shame, pride, loneliness, fear, and so many other things. I made this statement through being re-baptized!!!! I said yes to no longer believing the lies the enemy had me believe for so long!!!

I have taught English, walked around asking God for guidance in who to talk to, and pray for. I have danced with the elderly, and heard all about their lives. I have taught bible studies at church, and I have painted, sanded, and cleaned.

I have experienced what it looks like to have a missional lifestyle, instead of considering this race as just ‘a mission trip’, but walking in the truth that everyday is suppose to look like a ‘ministry day’. everyday we are suppose to love and pour into people well. Not just mon-fri.

I have learned that worship is so much more than music. that it is so much more than instruments. but a simple praise to God, whether that be singing at the top of your lungs, praying, or watercoloring.

I have learned to walk in boldness. not just by being outgoing, and willing to jump into uncomfortable situations, but walking in the boldness of leaning on the father in situations I don’t know how to deal with myself.

I have learned that it is not weird or crazy, when miracles happen, but it is NORMAL, because that is just who GOD is, and what HE does.

I have learned that I have always been capable of being the women God wants me to be, but now I get to dive in, and step in it.

I have learned that when you have a community that pours into you well, you pour out better.

I have learned so many things, and these are just a few, but more to come in month 2.

May I walk in to month 2 with an attitude of gratitude. a heart full of grace. and a love for Jesus and people that radiates, and joy that is contagious.

I pray all of those things in Jesus name.

Thank you supporters, for your support, your donations, and all you have done to get me here.

Thank you for making this possible, through your obedience to the Father.

Love y’all.
