Supporters, I am in Guatemala!!
The amount of feelings I am feeling currently is so unreal.
All crazy good feelings of course.
Life looks so different, but I am so EXPECTANT.
I just wanted to update y’all real quick and share what the Father is doing in my heart.
God has recently called me to a life of, “Being Off The Grid.”
God spoke Matthew 17:24-28 over me during devotional and at first I was so confused as to what that looked like for me.
However, it talks about picking up your cross and giving up your life to gain it.
I prayed, “God what does that look like for me?, How do you want me to give my life to gain it?”
There are so many things that God laid on my heart for this, but one that has to do with y’all is —
God gave me the heart and conviction of abandoning my social media, and not posting for the three months I am in Guatemala.
Along with, staying away from the screen as much as I can.
There are a lot of things I need to grow in.
A lot of things that God wants to restore me in.
And God has just been speaking to me and telling me that I cannot fully pursue this life, and fully dive into this season that he has for me, if I am distracted by the things that will distract and hold me back.
I just want to honor and love my team well, by being present and truly being intentional in loving and building our relationships.
Along with loving and honoring my ministry hosts and soon to be family all over Parramos, Guatemala, which is where my team (P31) will be diving in and loving a community that has seeds and roots of the love of Christ, ALREADY!
How stinking amazing, that I get an invitation to this life and get to love them really well, and get the amazing opportunity to walk IN growth with these people.
I will be posting blogs weekly though, so you will still continue to walk alongside me in this race.
