The why or the vision behind people’s actions are good to know, . Always strive for excellence and know God loves you!
My why?
The mother working 3 jobs to support her 2 growing boys, the girl who worries for her friend when they go to parties, the guys I get to live life with, the churches I see grow as I serve among them, the nephew that is about to be one years old, the bands that continue to release new content, the friends I get to keep in touch with, the dreams I have on Pinterest, the student who stays awake playing video games to avoid homework due to a tough curriculum and he’s scared to ask for help because he think he’s expected to know that by now, my why are those hurting, yearning for more, for healing, for freedom, those that have to go out and dig through trash to find recyclables just to get a sandwich by sundown, those that struggle to find clean water, those that are searching for an answer to this life, the ones that look for money just to get some medicine, the people trapped in the porn industry, those that are yelled at, those that are told they aren’t good enough, those that threaten the lives of others, those that are choosing drugs and alcohol over sleep and sustenance, the one who’s trying to open a bakery, the business who is waiting for their next client, the cancer patients that are cherishing their time with loved ones, the broken promises and trust, the embarrassed ones, the shamed, the oversharing storyteller, the quiet ones in the back, the loud and obnoxious one in the front, the parents who are wishing the best for their children as they know life is fleeting and is slipping through clenched fists, the one who cries to God for an answer as to why their friend passed in a car wreck, the one who screams in their car before going to work, the roadside peddler, the scam caller, the one who looks forward to surprising a loved one, the ones who get engaged, the ones who get married, the ones who get divorced, the ones who become widows, the ones who become orphans, the ones who are adopted, the intellectual wordsmith, the scatterbrained speaker, the ones who focus too much on physical image, the ones who’re ridiculed for cosplaying, the father that abandons his family, the kid who was born disabled, the father that sleeps while his kids are awake so he can work that double shift, the wife who is crying and confused because her husband has changed, the homosexual, the trans, the whatever gender crew, the staff at the camp i work at, the kid with his pet rock, the potential significant other who’ll one day be my wife, the overly aggressive parent at their kids sporting events, college student who drudges along apathetically due to the mental/emotional/physical/psychological pressure and stress from their studies, the artist who hasn’t created since their life changed, missionary in prison, the preacher who is an ineffective bible teacher. These are a nice blanketing explanation to my why for how I live. I’m not perfect, but I want to be honest. I believe these are those that Jesus has called us to love without ceasing even when things get rough. There’s so much more than what i was able to ponder on for a few minutes. I hope this encourages some deep thinking and assessing for you who actually reads this through.
Have a blessed time! Remember God has it in His hands.
