Refinement. An intimidating concept to wrap my head around. Stepping into the race, I knew the Father was going to bring growth, but never did I think to the extent He has so far.
The Holy Spirit does a beautiful job of refining hearts with fire, which is painful, but man is the end result a work of art.
I’m an agenda girl. Having a set schedule has always been my nature with the help of America’s fast paced culture. At the beginning of the race, whenever my ministry deviated from the set schedule or went long I would not have it. I mentally checked out and was frustrated. In some instances, I would find myself counting down the minutes we had left until we could get on a chicken bus and go home.
The Holy Spirit brought this to the surface of my heart and thank you Father for that. He began prompting me to let go of my personal agenda, because having a personal schedule puts what He can do in a box. I began to recognize that a set schedule blinded my from seeing where the Lord was moving.
Thank you Holy Spirit for refining my perspective and through that being able to have an attentive ear to where the Holy Spirit is leading and what His schedule is. WOW! Goodbye agenda! Being Holy Spirit lead and being obedient to where He wants me is REFRESHING and REWARDING.
I have begun to let go of my agenda and take on a spirit of obedience and has there been so much fruit in that.
