Welcome back to my blog! My team has been so blessed by all the love and donations we have received for our campus ministry. We met our $100 goal for Costa Rica, I am wanting to try to get that amount for each country, so that we can best serve our ministry. We had a great time giving out cookies to strangers, friends, and to our English Club members. So thank you to the many people that donated, it touched a lot of people!
Our routine-
We have been working with cru for 3 weeks now, so I want to go through the normal routine we have while we are on campus. We arrive at nine o’clock, and we do evangelism until 10:45. Evangelism consists of going all over campus to talk about God, ask if they have prayer requests, and invite students to our weekly meetings. We have weekly Cru meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, where we play games, have a talk, pray together, and get to know the students on a deeper level. On Fridays, we hold our aEnglish club at 11:00. This is where any student can come and practice English, yesterday was our second time doing this club. After our meetings and clubs, we all go get lunch together at a food court called, Plaza Chou. It is some of the best food for literally $1.50, which is such a blessing because PB&J’s get pretty old. At 1:30 we go back to our main spot on campus and we have worship or discipleship, or meeting with people we have met while we were evangelizing. We head back to the house around 2:30-3:00. Our whole day is packed with opportunities to share the gospel! Which is so cool. This is not what I expected to be doing, but this is ministry to the max! We have about 3 more weeks of working with Cru, I cant wait to see what is in store for the rest of our time here! We will say goodbye to Costa Rica on December 5th, sad day.
