My team and I have been very busy with ministry. We have been at the squatter camps. This is the poorest community in Jeffery’s bay. It’s been hard but very eye opening to see this. We have been bringing food for all the kids and they are some of the most giving kids and their hearts are so big. Here are some of the kids and some of my team members. It’s been one of the most rewarding yet exhausting parts of the day. its hard to keep up with all of them because they are such busy bodies!
The little boy in the red white orange stripped shirt started showing up today. He was so funny because I asked him if he knew English and he laughed and said no. I said are you sure, again he said no. As I kept asking him questions he kept responding, and he started asking me a whole bunch of questions, he then begin to realize where he messed up and he became quiet. I laughed to myself but than I questioned why he became quiet. Its either because he decided he wanted to be stubborn or he was just shy and nervous. I pray that we get to have more conversations and that he opens up more.
