Merry Christmas from Oman!!
Team Cartographers and I just returned from a five day trip of camping in mountains! Feeling oh so refreshed and utterly recharged being in nature, experiencing the chilly yet radiant beauty of Omans terrain.

Remember the three GINORMOUS dogs we met on the Yiti beach?! (referenced in the last Oman blog)
I’ll retell for those who might of missed the previous story…
Earlier this month we met an Omani couple named AJ and Ritta on Yiti beach! They have three massive dogs which obviously drew our attention as American dog lovers.
Well, coincidently we ended up running into the couple on a different beach a few days later, they were out walking the dogs on the beach right around the corner from their house where we were also camping out. In my opinion, nothing is coincidental in our lives, rather the encounters that occur are divine appointments created very intentionally from the Father.
After our run in, AJ and Ritta decided to come with us on our camping trip! Our team had the privilege to ride their two jeeps and ohhh mannnnn did we have a blast off-roading it!!
The team was able to pour into this couple and share Gods heart, pray with them and ultimately live out the eternal hope we have in Jesus! We had many fruitful conversations about love, forgiveness and how to live Christ centered lives focused on his kingdom. These conversations on our road trip opened doors for each of them to receive more of Jesus into their hearts. They both grew up in India so they have a Hindu background, but do believe that Jesus is real and have had personal encounter with him in dreams and through friends.
Jesus orchestrated this whole camping trip and the team and I got to follow in obedience… fervent believer that this is the best way to live!
Go tell it on the mountains that Jesus Christ is born!!!

donkeys came and ate all the leftovers!!
