Tonight is our third night in Kathmandu, Nepal! Our squad just traveled through the mountains in the Tibet region which is one of the craziest and unreached areas of the world! Since God transcends all law restrictions he opened a door of opportunity for a member of our squad to lead worship on a mountain top for locals!! What!!
So that brings us to debrief with our squad. A time to refuel and renew our hearts, minds and souls! We are poured into by leadership so we can sustain a life of full time ministry and loving others!
Tonight I met a mother of four. For the sake of confidentiality I’ll refer to her as May. A few ladies and I were walking the streets of Kathmandu.. doing some local shopping and looking for a jewelry shop so I could get a hip, Nepali hoop nose ring!
Undeniably, the Father is always up to something else, we are called to have eyes to see and ears to hear.. I love divine appointments. No coincidences.
Hannah says, “hey! This guy wants use to get henna on the streets, you in?” Though I was just stoked from finding peanut butter at the grocery store I came running along and we found an area to take a seat!
While Hannah gets tatted up by a nice young man who has passion and energy through the roof! Another lady comes near our vicinity. She grabs my arm and begs me to get henna.
Side note, Kathmandu is touristy… thank you Mount Everest trekking, therefore a no thank you is common to give to some asking for money for a service….but this felt different, I felt the heart wrench of this lady, I saw into her eyes she needed it.
So we sit down.. she says with the sweetest voice… little English.. but with conversation I heard more about her family and situation. She has four children and a husband that drinks and doesn’t provide at all for her. She allowed me into her story, she explained she doesn’t have money to pay rent.
Mind you beforehand I told her I didn’t really desire the henna and tried to lower her initial price..
My heart was moved completely by her vulnerability and humility to share her story, she matters and is completely loved by the Father. I knew I needed to share Jesus with her. Holy Spirit doing his thing nudges me. We prayed, it was powerful, she asked for prayer for her sun who is mentally disability and cannot speak. She experienced Jesus love and power over her circumstances. She experienced freedom and victory in the name of Jesus!! PRAISE BE TO GOD!
I share this in complete celebration of his kingdom come! May was given hope tonight. Hope in a savior that died for her and loves her. I got to be a witness and it was beyond fulfilling.
And of course…. the henna was beautiful and colored! Check it outtttttt!!! She was so excited she gave me on on the other hand as well!

Thank you for your continued prayers they are heard and are being lifted To him!!
** I am still raising $8,000 dollars to remain in the field. If you feel called to donate I would love to continue to share and let kingdom come!!
