Hi everyone!
I am back in Minnesota now as I just finished my 10 day training camp in Gainesville, Georgia in preparation for launch in just six short weeks!!
I came hungry to training camp, hungry for more of God, and his kingdom. I came expectant that God was going to move in my heart and he most definitely did that and more! God wants to reveal himself to you, it is a choice to know that God is sovereign amongst your circumstances. A powerful prayer to pray is “ YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN”
Training wasn’t all butterfly and rainbows, which is an accurate depiction of life here on earth. We were given challenging scenarios that could happen on the field, it rained 5 days straight while we were living in tents….everything I brought smelt less then pleasant, yet I was filled with joy over and over again. How? I am learning to know that God works all things good for those who love him and I get to seek his kingdom and walk in his presence daily. Reaching the lost people groups of the world! Sign me up! Why? YOUR KINGDOM COME. Allowing God to intervene in your life and see his abundant heart for you and everyone around you is growing HIS KINGDOM, and trust me that is the best place to be.
I was educated on the cultures and beliefs of other nations we will be serving. The major takeaway is that our American/Western values looks different than others around the world. If we want to bring the Kingdom of God to earth we most know how to express a devotion to God in a relatable way to their already established way of life, the Kingdom of God looks different to everyone in accordance to their upbringing and culture, the good news is that Jesus transcends ALL culture.
My squad is made of people that are on fire for his Kingdom. We are about to go battle for his KINGDOM. With each of our spiritual gifts that were graciously given, we will fight the darkness and oppression in cultures that have never been exposed to the name of Jesus!
Ephesians 6:12
“ For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
The Kingdom of God is all around us!! I am praising God for what he is already doing and partnering with him to ensure the movement of the Gospel! I desire for others to experience the goodness of the Father and for their hunger to be fully satisfied.
LET YOUR KINGDOM COME.
