Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Seasons begin and end… but with an ending there is a new season. Most of 2019 I said I needed it to be 2020. Now I see the growing that needed to take place. God brought dead branches to my attention so that they could be cut off to make room for more fruit. However, every season has it hardships… this season was no exception. It started with some tears. Saying goodbye to my family and friends was pretty difficult. The hardest though was saying bye too Kylie… the Luke… tomorrow I say goodbye to my mom and dad. Not gonna lie… it’s been a little ruff because I love my family dearly. It will be strange to have memories that they are not apart of… but I’m stoked to compare notes in December. With every goodbye I remind myself how sweet it will be to embrace my family and say hello.
The extraordinary thing is you never have to say goodbye to God. Blows my mind! God is always stand at the door, arms wide open, saying, “Hello, welcome, I’ve been waiting for you. You never have to say goodbye and no one can ever take you from me.”
So farewell my family and friends, till we meet again. May your season be fabulous and full of Jesus moments! See ya’ll at the end of the year Lord willing. Know that you are being showered with love and prayer from across the miles!
