Hey everyone, this is my friend Amanda Baltodano! I love her so much and we have gotten so close in these past two months. She is the type of friend that will go on the insane adventures and also brainstorm pranks to play on the squad. At the same time, you could sit down and have a deep conversation about the bible, binge watch movies on our sabbath, or just vent to about the stressful day you had. She is so passionate about everything she believes whether it be teaching in the slums of San Jose or how “Nacho Libre” is the most superior movie. She is such an essential part of the squad. When Amanda talks people want to listen because what she has to say is so thought out and impactful. Amanda got accepted to the World Race in May which didn’t give her much time to fundraise. Her $10,000 deadline is on November 6th and she is $1,500 away. If she doesn’t reach her goal then she is sent home. This is a time for God to move and create miracles.
