Hello! I just want to begin by thanking everyone who is taking the time to read this and taking a step into this journey with me! Let me take a minute to introduce myself to you all! My name is Katrina Lambert and I’m 22 years old. I’m the second oldest in a family of 12 children, therefore as you could probably guess, children have always been a massive part of my life! This life position has lead to me having a big heart for children! More recently, God has been revealing that my love for children has the potential to expand far beyond my siblings and those youngsters directly around me. He has developed in me a compassion for the cry of children and especially orphans worldwide. I have had the opportunity to take part in two short term mission trip up to this point, and those have awakened a heart for the world that I hadn’t seen in myself previously. I’m so excited to learn how God wants to continue to develop that heart through the World Race!
Besides my heart for children and missions, God has also gifted me with a love of writing and expressing myself through the power of words! (Which is so wonderful how I can combine my two loves through writing to share this journey with everyone!) In times when I’ve been hypothetically asked “If you could do anything with your life and money was no issue, what would you accomplish?” I’ve always envisioned traveling the world (especially to orphanages) to love, encourage, and support children all over the world. Then I would write about my experiences and opportunities God opened the door for, and then publish those collections into books to inspire others!
When I’m not loving on little people or with an open notebook expressing my heart through words, I love being outdoors hiking, walking, and basically anything that gives me the delight of fresh air! Or with my nose stuck in a book (gotta get my inspiration for my writing from somewhere, you know?
) Otherwise, I can often be found in the kitchen baking or cooking up a new recipe!
Well, that sums me up pretty decently! Again, thank you so much for your support in reading this! May God bless you abundantly!
