98 days until I’ll get on a plane, fly to Georgia, and get to meet the people I’ll be spending the next two months with. After a few days of training, we will all fly out to Thailand together. As the date gets closer and closer I find my self both jumping with excitement and overwhelmed with fears and doubts. What if I made a huge mistake? What if my team is crazy? But in God’s goodness He gives me peace and reminds me that this is HIS summer and he has a beautiful plan for it. I know that what I have given Him in faith he will take and use for the good of his kingdom. How exciting to get to be a part of that! I am simply a vessel for his love. I’ve been hearing a song a lot recently, ‘Build my Life’ the whole song is about how God is worthy of everything, one of the lines in the chorus always stands out to me ‘Show me who you are, and fill me with your heart, and lead me in your love to those around me’ This has become my prayer – That God would lead me where he wants me, and that I will be so full of Him that it overflows into others lives.
Please continue to pray for my team and I as we prepare, that God will work in us to prepare us, as well as the heart of those we will be going too. Please also pray for my fundraising, that God will provide and give me the courage and trust in Him and his ways.
