Hi! My full name is Katherine Kenslow Mullis, but most people call me Kate. I am currently a senior at Hickory Christian Academy in Hickory, NC, and I am so excited for this next chapter in my life. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved adventure and trying new things. I love exploring and experiencing the world in different ways. God is constantly revealing his love and mercy and goodness to me through my experiences and I can’t wait to see what he will do on the race.
Also, ever since I can remember, I have been an artist. I love music, dance, movies and theater. I have been dancing since I was 5 years old. First, at Sonya’s Dance Academy and then Hickory Ballet and Performing Arts, for 8 years. I absolutely love performing and getting in front of an audience. I love to sing and have been in chorus at school, praise band at my church, and different musicals and performances with drama class at school.
The most important thing about me is that I love the Lord with all my heart. I have always wanted to do something different with my life and serve the Lord in a way that is different. I am so excited to be going to Swaziland, Thailand, and Nicaragua and being apart of how God is working in countries around the world.
