Hello Everyone!!

I am currently sitting at a resort on our off day. Days like today make me so thankful for rest and intentional conversations.

Three weeks ago, I woke up in Gainesville. Without my family, in a room with over 80 strangers, and having zero clue of what would be happening that day. That day, I grew my relationships with my team, learned more about the King that loves me a ridiculous amount, and I started to prepare my heart and mind for what would come. These few days in Georgia were full of laughter and growth.

A few days later, we spent a whole entire day traveling. Literally.. washing our hair in the airport bathroom, sleeping anywhere we could, and eating snacks all day long. It was an experience for sure. But, those hours of traveling were just the start.

When we arrived in Haiti, it was a big ole shock. Most of didn’t even know Haiti had mountains ??? We stayed at a guest house near the airport to get some rest before another travel day and woke up to meet our last team member, Evens. He lives in Haiti and we all immediately connected as if he was with us the whole weekend at training camp. Our team was finally complete. We are the Life-Seekers!!!

Finally, we arrived to our home for the next month and got settled in. We are staying at a ministry called Supply and Multiply. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with the most loving hosts. The staff, board members, and community friends have been so good at showing us how their ministry works and how we can make a difference while we are on the ground here.

Supply and Multiply is a ministry that focuses on empowerment in order to provide provision. That includes provisions to the lives of staff, local Haitians, elderly, and children; spiritually and physically. A big part of this ministry is to provide for Haitians in Montrouis which includes purchasing goods and materials from them, employing them on the property, and helping those who need it. Sometimes that help is just a hug or conversation, it never has to be a materialistic thing. Regardless of what it is, I have noticed that the Haitians immediately thank Jesus for the provisions given to them. I’ve also noticed how well the ministry invites anyone into the supply and Multiply family.

This ministries main focus is the elderly and future generations. They have houses separate from which we live that house the elderly. They are called Matthew 25 houses. The purpose of these houses comes from Matthew 25:31-40. “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.  He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’”

While being here, I have come into contact with so many people that have truly made a difference in this community. This ministry is reaching their goals and allowing the verse 2 Corinthians 9:10 to be lived out. “He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and Multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest for your righteousness.

Haiti had given me so much hope and joy in life and watching the different ministries here makes me so excited to spread the gospel forever!!

With a few more weeks here, I can’t wait to see the Lord use me in more ways.

love, Kasie
